Ranch Sorting

2007-2008 Ranch Sorting and Team Penning Season

Para Hevea will be starting it's 2007-2008 Team Penning and Sorting season on Saturday, September 29 th, 2007. Para Hevea would like to invite all Team Penning and Sorting enthusiasts to join us this season. Check our web site in October for the upcoming 2007-2008 Sorting and Team Penning season.

We take great pride in providing our Sorting and Team Penning customers with top quality cattle in which to practice, so come join us this fall for the opening of the 2007-2008 Penning and Sorting season.

Cutting Horse Introduction to Cow/Horse Clinic - New Season to be Announced in November 2008

Para Hevea conducts a clinic during the winter months for riders and horses that have little or no experience working cattle. Inexperienced riders will get a chance to slowly introduce their horses to cattle. The clinic may touch on some actual team penning techniques depending on the overall experience of the riders and horses attending the clinic. The clinic will generally be conducted for a time period of 1 to 1.5 hours.

Oregon/Washington High School Equestrian Teams

Para Hevea welcomes all high school equestrian teams to practice team penning with us during Saturday practice sections starting the first Saturday of December, 2008. Para Hevea provides special reduced rates to high school equestrian teams (Minimum of 3 members from each equestrian team) during practice session.
High school teams are welcome to schedule an open block of time to practice high school equestrian events. Equestrian teams wishing to reserve arena use during open schedule times should contact Para Hevea a week in advance in order to secure open schedule time.
* State OHSET rules may apply to formal team practices before a certain date.
